Senior RF Layout Engineer

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Senior RF Layout Engineer to join their team in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. This role is part of the Engineering Services Group and focuses on developing block, macro, or chip level layouts and floorplans according to project requirements, specifications, and design schematics.

As a Senior RF Layout Engineer, you will be responsible for creating accurate designs that meet project needs, conducting analyses, tests, and verifying designs using various tools and techniques. You will work with multiple internal and external stakeholders to align on projects, provide updates, and resolve issues.

Key responsibilities include:

• Detailed transistor-level layout of RF and analog circuit blocks
• Block level and top-level layout through full verification flow
• Co-work with designers on block level and top-level floor planning
• Layout review for power/ground routing, electromigration, signal path check, and signal coupling
• Top-level layout integration and verification

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in custom RF/analog layout
• Extensive knowledge of deep sub-micron CMOS (14nm FinFET and below)
• Proficiency in layout techniques for device matching, minimizing parasitic, and RF shielding
• Understanding of RC delay, electromigration, and coupling
• High-level proficiency in interpretation of CALIBRE DRC, ERC, LVS, etc.
• Knowledge of CADENCE layout tools
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
