Qualcomm Graphics Software Engineers architect, design, implement, verify, and optimize the structure and performance of GPU hardware, drivers, features, applications, and tools. Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and support compliant and optimized drivers for Adreno GPUs
- Work with software, hardware, and systems teams
- Implement and support Graphics drivers for standards (Direct3D, Vulkan)
- Develop state-of-the-art rendering techniques including Ray Tracing/Mesh shading and other DX12.2 features
- Perform performance profiling in DirectX/Vulkan games
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of relevant work experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- 2+ years of work experience with one or more programming languages suitable for graphics (e.g., C++, C)
- Strong C++ development skills
- Experience with graphics APIs including DX11/DX12/Vulkan (12-15 years preferred)
- Strong debugging skills
- Experience with state-of-the-art rendering techniques
- Performance profiling experience in DirectX/Vulkan games
