Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Staff-level SOC Design Verification Engineer to join their Hardware Engineering team in Bangalore. This role focuses on managing UFS/Ethernet/PCIe high-speed IP verification for System on Chip projects.
The position requires a seasoned professional with 5+ years of experience in verification domain, combining technical expertise with leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding design specifications, developing test plans, and ensuring the correctness of design through comprehensive verification processes.
Key technical requirements include expertise in UVM, C/C++, System Verilog, and familiarity with verification tools like VCS and waveform analyzer. The role demands strong knowledge of processor-based SoC level verification, AXI-AMBA protocol variants, and ASIC flow.

Responsibilities For SOC Design Verification Staff Engineer
- Understand design specification and implementation, define verification scope, develop test plans and infrastructure
- Implement and analyze system Verilog assertion and coverage
- Work with verification team to analyze, develop and execute verification test cases
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and pre/post silicon verification teams
- Adhere to quality standards and good test/verification practices
Requirements For SOC Design Verification Staff Engineer
- B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in electronics with 5+ years experience in verification domain
- Experience with IP level or SoC level verification
- Knowledge of UFS, Ethernet and PCIe Protocol
- Understanding of processor-based SoC level verification
- Experience with verification tools (VCS, waveform analyzer)
- Expertise in UVM, C/C++, System Verilog
- Understanding of AXI-AMBA protocol variants
- Proficiency in scripting (shell, Makefile, Perl)
- Strong understanding of design concepts and ASIC flow
- Good problem solving, analytical and debugging skills
