Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive thermal analysis throughout the product development cycle, supporting architecture and product specification studies, and developing new computational thermal methodologies. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary technical expert for SoC thermal optimization, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve optimal product performance.
The position requires extensive experience in thermal engineering, with a strong background in heat transfer, fluid mechanics simulation, and computer programming. Candidates should possess at least 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree (or 7 years with a Master's, 6 years with a PhD) in Science, Engineering, or related fields.

Responsibilities For SoC Thermal Engineer, Principal/Manager
- Support SoC design by providing thermal analysis throughout product development cycle
- Conduct SoC level thermal analysis for architecture and product specification studies
- Model and recommend SoC-level floorplan, performance, and thermal control optimization
- Develop new computational thermal methodologies and software tools
- Act as key thermal technical expert and POC for SoC thermal optimization and analysis
Requirements For SoC Thermal Engineer, Principal/Manager
- Master's or PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong background in heat transfer and fluid mechanics simulation methods
- Strong background in computer programming for numerical simulation
- Experience with thermal simulation methodologies and tools like ANSYS ICEPAK
- Experience with measurement: IR camera, thermocouples
- Experience with thermal materials
- Experience in thermal simulations at SoC, package and system levels
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
