Responsibilities For Software Build and Integration Engineer

  • Build, Integration and verification on Qualcomm Snapdragon Automotive Platform chipsets
  • Define plan and integrate new features
  • Analyze and identify system level build integration issues
  • Perform smoke test on test platforms
  • Execute basic test scenarios for various modules
  • Participate in build automation
  • Interface with development and test teams
  • Assemble and verify software builds
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems

Requirements For Software Build and Integration Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2-6 years of software development/integration experience
  • Strong background in embedded software
  • Understanding of C/C++ programming
  • Strong Shell Scripting/Python/Perl programming skills
  • Experience with Git/Gerrit or Perforce
  • Knowledge of GNU make and Soong concepts
  • Experience with Continuous Build and Integration tools like Jenkins

  • Hands-on experience on debugging embedded systems
