Sr AI Developer Relations Engineer

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior AI Developer Relations Engineer to join their team and drive the development of comprehensive developer experiences for third-party developers. This role represents an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of AI technology and developer relations.

The position involves working with Snapdragon AI APIs and optimized libraries, creating sample applications that demonstrate clear interface usage and templates for developers to test their proprietary models on Qualcomm hardware. You'll be instrumental in helping developers optimize their AI applications for Snapdragon platforms, particularly focusing on Windows on Snapdragon implementations.

As a senior member of the team, you'll collaborate with various stakeholders including development leads, software and hardware architects, project engineers, product managers, customer engineers, OEMs, and OS partners. Your work will directly impact the developer ecosystem by providing valuable tools, documentation, and support for AI application development.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Developing comprehensive sample applications showcasing AI capabilities on Snapdragon platforms
• Working with internal teams to address developer queries and enhance documentation
• Contributing to the improvement of the software stack, SDK, and development tools
• Engaging with external developers in IoT, Automotive, and Microsoft device ecosystems
• Staying current with ML model design trends and academic research

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), GPU programming, and parallel computing. Experience with large language models and foundational models is a plus. Strong communication skills are essential as you'll be articulating complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
