Description For Sr Engineer- Wearable Automation

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Sr Engineer for Wearable Automation in Hyderabad, India. This role is part of the Engineering Group, specifically in Software Test Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing detailed test plans for embedded systems and software, designing and maintaining automated test frameworks, executing test cases, and collaborating with development teams to improve product quality.

Key responsibilities include: • Develop detailed test plans for embedded systems and software • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts • Execute manual and automated test cases and analyze results • Identify, record, and track bugs and issues • Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and improve product quality

The ideal candidate should have: • Bachelor's degree in CSE/ECE or related field • 2+ years of experience in embedded software testing, particularly in Embedded domain CoreBSP Development/Testing • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C/C++ and scripting languages like Python • Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and hardware interfaces • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred qualifications include experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS), knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, SPI, I2C, etc.), USB, Storage (SD/eMMC/UFS), PCIe, and familiarity with version control systems like Git and Perforce.
