Description For Sr Power Engineer

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Senior Power Engineer to join their APPS Power Optimization Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology, optimizing power consumption for Snapdragon SoCs across mobile, IoT, Wear, AR/VR, and modem products.

As a Senior Power Engineer, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams spanning hardware, software, and systems engineering. You'll work with advanced technologies including CPUs, Hexagon DSPs, Adreno GPUs, IoT, AR/VR, ML/AI, Wireless LAN, GPS, and low-power sensors. Your primary focus will be on debugging and analyzing power issues, developing solutions for system-level power management, and influencing hardware design for optimal power consumption.

The role requires strong technical expertise in power optimization, performance analysis, and software development. You'll be responsible for conducting detailed power and thermal studies, working closely with software teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, and designing tools for power consumption debugging. Requirements For Sr Power Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering experience
  • OR Master's degree with 1+ year experience
  • OR PhD in related field
  • 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python
