Responsibilities For Staff Engineer, Cellular / Wireless Networks

  • Interact with wireless Operators to investigate 5G/LTE-A/LTE networks performance
  • Use handset and network infrastructure tools for network performance measurement
  • Develop solutions using C/C++/MATLAB for network performance improvement
  • RF and OTA Parametric Optimization and troubleshooting
  • RF Network Planning and propagation model calibration
  • Support operator for infrastructure vendor RFPs
  • Develop white-papers and technical documentation
  • Present complex technical ideas to internal and external audiences

Requirements For Staff Engineer, Cellular / Wireless Networks

Python
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with focus in Wireless Communication Systems (minimum GPA: 3.4)
  • Good knowledge of cellular (5G NR, LTE-A and LTE) PHY/MAC and upper layers
  • Experience with data services including RTP/TCP/UDP/IP protocols
  • Programming skills in C/C++/Perl/Python/MATLAB
  • 6-10 years of relevant engineering experience in cellular networks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Independent and team player capabilities
  • Academic background in digital communications and wireless networks
