Description For Staff Product Manager

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Staff Product Manager to join their QCT tools team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop strategy, create roadmaps, and manage product development with a focus on usability and differentiation. The position requires collaboration with customers and multiple engineering teams to drive feature implementation into products. The ideal candidate will need to understand business dynamics and key technology trends to create plans 3-24 months ahead.

The role involves working in a dynamic environment where you'll be responsible for tracking industry and consumer trends, understanding partner needs, and leveraging Qualcomm's capabilities to evolve their products. You'll be working with cloud-based technologies, managing software processes, and driving adoption of QCT tools among customers.

Responsibilities For Staff Product Manager

  • Definition and creation of product requirements for key new features and differentiators
  • Interface with customers, sales team, product development and engineering to drive adoption of features
  • Manage messaging to explain QCT tools capabilities to customers
  • Work with customers to drive adoption of QCT tools
  • Collect feedback on market needs and triage issues affecting adoption of tool chain

Requirements For Staff Product Manager

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field
  • 5+ years of Product Management or related work experience
  • Understanding of cloud-based technologies
  • Experience with open source tool chains
  • Experience with Industry standards for Compute, IOT, Auto, Mobile tool chains
  • Experience driving a roadmap and software schedules
  • Good understanding of Software as a Service platforms
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
