Responsibilities For Summer Intern- CPU Physical Design Engineer
- Develop constraints, run physical implementation, low Power checks, timing and power analysis
- Create design of experiments and do detailed comparison analysis to improve quality of results
- Work closely with RTL design, low power and automation teams to optimize performance and power
- Generate, review and validate design constraints to achieve timing closure of High-speed cores
- Tabulate metrics results for analysis comparison
Requirements For Summer Intern- CPU Physical Design Engineer
- Graduate students major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field
- Experience with CPU micro-architecture and their critical path (preferred)
- Experience with Low power implementation techniques, High speed CPU implementation (preferred)
- Experience with constraint management tool and Verilog coding (preferred)
- Experience with Perl/Tcl scripting (preferred)
