Responsibilities For SW Embedded Engineer - Camera
- Work on cutting-edge features for next generation cameras in Connected Camera, Robotics, Drone, and Video Collab platforms
- Design and commercialize top-notch cameras for best-in-class image quality
- Optimize power and performance for camera systems
- Develop and maintain camera software drivers and applications
- Work on imaging pipelines and camera frameworks
Requirements For SW Embedded Engineer - Camera
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Languages (C, C++, Java, Python)
- 1+ years of industry-related experience developing embedded software drivers or applications
- Knowledge of MIPI Protocol, Imaging Sensors, and Serializer/Deserializer chips
- Working Knowledge of camera design, imaging module, subsystem pipeline and architecture
- Experience working on Imaging pipelines, Camera HALs, and frameworks like Android, V4L2
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ with in-depth knowledge of object-oriented development
- Experience developing and debugging multithreaded applications & frameworks
- Excellent OS fundamentals and knowledge of low-level drivers of Linux
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
