Responsibilities For Test Automation Engineer
- Develop and execute Test Plans (both automated and Manual)
- Review and develop test plans based on product, feature and engineering requirements
- Interact with Development Leads to bring up new test plans for features
- Implement and automate tests and support manual and automated testing
- Work with design engineers to analyze and troubleshoot problems
- Interpret domain area specifications and product requirements
- Organize test results and log defects into the defect tracking system
- Work with both local lead and remote teams on debugging issues
- Create checklists and templates for ASPICE process
- Identify gaps in test areas and process areas and suggest improvements
Requirements For Test Automation Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- Solid Understanding of computer architecture/software architecture for SoCs
- Good grasp of QNX/Linux OS fundamentals, scripting skills
- Software programming in C/C++ and scripting (python, shell)
- Excellent Debugging Skills
- Good understanding of the ADAS/Platform/Multimedia systems
- Good understanding and practice of Scrum and Agile methodology
- ASPICE compliance knowledge
- Basic Level ISTQB Certification (preferred)
