Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join their Engineering Group. This role combines software testing expertise with automotive domain knowledge, focusing on developing and implementing automated test solutions for automotive software systems.
The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of experience and strong foundations in computer architecture and software testing. You'll work with QNX/Linux systems, utilizing programming skills in C/C++ and Python to create robust test automation frameworks. Knowledge of ASPICE compliance and automotive standards (ISO 26262) is valuable.

Responsibilities For Test Automation Engineer
- Interacting with Development Leads to bring up new test plans for features
- Responsible for test development including definition, implementation and automating the tests
- Working with design engineers to analyze and troubleshoot problems
- Work with both local lead and remote teams on debugging issues
- Creation of new checklists, templates towards the ASPICE process
- Support in identifying gaps in test areas and process areas and suggest improvements
Requirements For Test Automation Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- Solid Understanding of computer architecture/software architecture for SoCs
- Good grasp of QNX/Linux OS fundamentals, scripting skills
- Software programming in C/C++ and scripting (python, shell)
- Excellent Debugging Skills
- ASPICE compliance knowledge
- Good understanding of the ADAS/Platform/Multimedia systems
- Good understanding and practice of Scrum and Agile methodology
