Qualcomm China is seeking an experienced Water Treatment Engineer to join our facilities team in Wuxi. This role combines technical expertise in water treatment systems with environmental compliance and operational efficiency.
The position involves managing Building A's comprehensive water treatment systems, including pure water, wastewater, and water reuse processes. You'll be responsible for ensuring optimal system performance while maintaining compliance with environmental regulations and company standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing daily operations of building water systems
- Implementing preventive maintenance programs
- Training technical staff
- Handling system anomalies and troubleshooting
- Managing energy consumption and environmental compliance
- Developing and updating standard operating procedures
- Leading ISO14001 environmental initiatives
The ideal candidate brings:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in water treatment operations
- Strong technical knowledge of pure water and wastewater systems
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to lead and train technical teams
- Good English language proficiency

Responsibilities For Water Treatment Engineer
- Ensure daily operation and high efficiency of Building A water system
- Ensure water system operation complies with legal requirements
- Maintain and service Building A water system facilities and spare parts management
- Manage water system energy consumption
- Handle system anomalies and ensure complete resolution
- Train and guide TS personnel on water system operations
- Organize and complete water system PM work
- Manage environmental compliance for water systems
- Update and publish water system SOP documents
- Implement ISO14001 environmental and energy-saving projects
Requirements For Water Treatment Engineer
- Bachelor's degree or above in Environmental Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
- 8+ years experience in pure water and wastewater operations
- Familiar with pure water, wastewater, and water reuse processes
- Good team collaboration and communication skills
- Good English language skills
- Knowledge of pure water and wastewater treatment technology
