Description For Wifi MAC -Design Verification Engineer -Sr Staff

Qualcomm's WLAN HW team in Bangalore is seeking a Senior Staff Wifi MAC Design Verification Engineer to join their innovative team. This role is crucial in developing and delivering industry-leading WLAN/WiFi solutions. The position involves verifying the Wireless MAC subsystem and requires expertise in WLAN MAC data and control path.

The ideal candidate will have 11+ years of industry experience with strong System Verilog/UVM verification skills. You'll be responsible for developing test plans for WiFi Standards, including 11BE, and managing end-to-end DV tasks. Responsibilities For Wifi MAC -Design Verification Engineer -Sr Staff

  • Understanding of WLAN MAC data and control path
  • Develop test plan to verify WiFi Standards including 11BE, sequences and design components
  • Own end to end DV tasks from coding Test bench and test cases, write assertions, running simulations and achieving all coverage goals
  • Explore innovative DV methodologies to continuously push the quality and efficiency of test benches
  • Collaborate with worldwide design, silicon, and architecture teams

Requirements For Wifi MAC -Design Verification Engineer -Sr Staff

Python
  • BE/BTech/ME/MTech/MS in Communication
  • Strong System Verilog/UVM based verification skills
  • Experience with assertion & coverage-based verification methodology
  • Experience in formal / static verification methodologies (plus)
  • Good understanding of WiFi Standards (plus)
  • Experience with GLS, and scripting languages such as Perl, Python (plus)
  • Strong communication skills
