Qualcomm Communication Technologies Ltd. is seeking a Windows on Arm Multimedia SW Application Engineer to join their Customer Engineering team. This role is crucial in working with leading Windows on Snapdragon (WoS) IOT device makers from design and development through to commercial launch.
The position involves comprehensive multimedia driver support, including display driver support for eDP/DP/MIPI/HDMI interfaces, audio driver support for I2S/SoundWire/Slimbus interfaces, and camera driver support for MIPI interface. You'll be working with global teams of dedicated experts to develop next-generation IOT products.
Key responsibilities include system integration and debugging, driver customization, and providing end-to-end support for OEM customers. You'll need to demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively bridge customer requirements with internal development teams.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in embedded systems and driver development, with particular expertise in C/C++ programming. Experience with Windows driver development, Qualcomm chipset software, and ACPI would be highly valuable.

Responsibilities For Windows on Arm Multimedia SW Application Engineer
- Integration, development, and system debugging on OEM designs
- Porting Multimedia (Display, Audio and Camera) driver according to customer specific requests
- Customize Multimedia software drivers for OEM
- Provide multimedia performance measurement, analysis, and optimization
- Create application notes, technical memo, and provide training to customers
- Partner with external customers to understand requirements
- Handle customer Q&A and work closely with internal developers
Requirements For Windows on Arm Multimedia SW Application Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 1+ years Software Applications Engineering or Software Development experience
- 1+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++
- 1+ years experience with embedded system
- Experience in Windows driver development preferred
- Experience with Qualcomm chipset software and firmware development preferred
- Experience in WDM and ACPI is a plus
