Join Qualcomm India's System Test team as a Principal Engineer focused on WiFi & Networking access points. You'll be responsible for defining and implementing comprehensive testing strategies, developing test plans, tools, and automation frameworks for validating WiFi routers. Working closely with systems, development, and architecture teams, you'll ensure delivery of production-grade software/firmware to end customers. Responsibilities For WLAN test-Principal Engineer
- Analyze new features and develop/create new test plans and adding new test cases
- Manage Infrastructure, develop test topologies and prepare use cases for validation
- Work with cross functional teams for supporting end-to-end release
- Direct small team of engineers on gathering, integrating, and interpreting information
- Develop skills and train the team, serve as a mentor to Engineers
- Conduct log analysis with team members to identify issues
- Network with colleagues to gain insight and share information
- Collaborate with functional teams, lab teams, and product management
Requirements For WLAN test-Principal Engineer
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Electronics & communications or related field
- 15+ years in WiFi/Networking Test, automation or Software Engineering
- Strong knowledge in WLAN/networking and manual testing of networking products
- Experience with layer-2 to layer 7 protocols
- High debugging capability
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience in scripting languages like python (optional)
- Experience in shell scripting and windows batch commands (optional)
- Excellent English communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
