Lead MLOps Engineer

Quantexa, a data intelligence company founded in 2016, is seeking a Lead MLOps Engineer to join their Analytics team. This role is crucial in designing, deploying, and maintaining production-level machine learning models. The ideal candidate will lead MLOps initiatives, including infrastructure, automation, and seamless transition of models from development to production.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Building and managing scalable cloud-based infrastructure for ML model deployment
2. Implementing CI/CD pipelines for ML/NLP model deployments
3. Developing automated pipelines for training, validation, and retraining of models
4. Setting up monitoring systems to track model performance and handle issues
5. Collaborating with data scientists and ML engineers to ensure smooth transition of models to production
6. Mentoring junior MLOps engineers and participating in Scrum ceremonies

Required skills:

• Proven experience in MLOps and deploying ML models to production
• Expertise in cloud platforms (GCP), Kubernetes, and Docker
• Strong programming skills in Python, with knowledge of Scala and/or Java
• Experience with MLOps tools like MLFlow, Kubeflow, or DVC
• Proficiency in automation and infrastructure as code
• Strong leadership and communication skills
