Description For JIRA Developer

Join a large government customer as a JIRA Developer in a hybrid role based in Corsham. This is a part-time position requiring 50% monthly work commitment with a minimum of 2 days/week on-site. The role focuses on creating and maintaining the technical setup and integrity of JIRA/JSM project boards and hierarchy. As an experienced Jira Developer, you'll work alongside a Business Analyst, focusing purely on technical implementation and enhancements. The position runs from February 2025 to March 2025, with potential extension until June 2025, offering a competitive day rate of £550.

The role demands expertise in configuring, supporting, and optimizing JIRA and JIRA Service Management systems to meet the growing programme management team's needs. You'll be responsible for setting up scalable JIRA hierarchies, managing system integrity, designing workflows, implementing automations, and creating advanced reporting solutions.

Key aspects include developing custom configurations, managing integrations with other tools, and ensuring seamless data flow across applications. You'll work closely with Agile teams to adapt JIRA settings for iterative workflows and collaborate with DDPT and Reporting leads on JIRA Align implementation.

This position requires SC Clearance and is exclusively for UK nationals. The role operates Inside IR35, requiring candidates to work through an umbrella company. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled JIRA developer to contribute to significant government projects while enjoying flexible working arrangements and competitive compensation.
