Maritime Platforms Engineer

Join a prestigious government customer as a Maritime Platforms Engineer in Bristol, working on critical submarine engineering projects. This role, positioned within the Design Authority Structures (DAST) section of the SDA In-Service Submarines Platform Engineering Team, focuses on structural and mechanical engineering for submarine systems. The position offers a competitive day rate of up to £550 and requires 3 days per week on-site presence.

The role involves ensuring the structural integrity and safety of in-service submarines, both at sea and during docking operations. You'll be responsible for assessing structural elements, setting design requirements, and developing solutions for complex engineering challenges.
