Quiq, a leader in enterprise agentic AI for customer experience, is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to join their fully-remote team. This role sits at the intersection of AI technology and practical business applications, focusing on building and deploying AI Assistants for major enterprise clients. The position requires expertise in conversational AI, prompt engineering, and technical implementation using tools like vector databases and Python.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of technical product development experience, with at least 1 year in conversational AI. You'll work directly with customers to understand their needs, design solutions, and implement AI Assistants using Quiq's AI Studio toolkit. The role combines technical skills with customer interaction, requiring both strong engineering capabilities and excellent communication skills.

  • 3+ years in application development of technical products
  • At least 1 year developing conversational experiences preferred
  • Degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
  • Design conversational UX for complex business use cases
  • Experience with vector databases for AI pipelines
  • Prompt engineering skills including zero and few-shot techniques
  • AI orchestration and observability skills
  • Basic Python programming and API integration skills
