Senior Full Stack Software Engineer - Poe Core Product

Quora is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to contribute to Poe, their exciting AI product. As a member of the team focused on improving the chat experience and bot ecosystem, you'll have the opportunity to build cutting-edge features from scratch. Your role will involve planning and implementing new features, contributing to front-end and back-end development, and taking shared ownership of the cross-functional product development cycle.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating closely with designers, product teams, data scientists, QA, and other engineers to deliver interactive, intuitive AI-powered user experiences on Poe
• Iterating quickly on projects, from ideation to launch, using the full web technology stack
• Being a champion for both user experience and sustainable, scalable code practices

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to be available for meetings during Quora's "coordination hours" (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time)
• 5+ years of full-time professional full-stack experience building user-facing consumer web products
• 3+ years of professional experience with React, Typescript, and GraphQL
• 3+ years experience in Python or similar programming language
• Professional experience leveraging backend storage systems such as MySQL, MyRocks, Memcached, or Redis
