Senior DevOps Engineer

Rackspace Technology, a leading provider of expertise and managed services across major public and private cloud technologies, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for an exciting opportunity in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is part of a significant project commissioned by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to build a sovereign multi-tenant private cloud.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer within the Cloud Management Platform (CMP) team, you'll be at the forefront of designing and managing intricate DevOps pipelines for a key client. Your expertise will be crucial in integrating leading tools and ensuring the resilience and security of networking protocols and infrastructures.

The position requires a seasoned professional with at least 5 years of DevOps experience and strong Python development skills. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including Kubernetes, OpenStack, and various container orchestration platforms. The role demands expertise in Linux system administration, automation tools like Terraform and Ansible, and proficiency in managing DevOps tools such as GitLab and CircleCI.

This is initially a 4-month contract with a high likelihood of extension, offering an opportunity to work on a prestigious project for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role is permanently on-site in Riyadh, and Arabic language skills are highly advantageous.
