Rackspace Technology, a leading provider of managed cloud services, is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer with GCP expertise. This role combines DevOps practices with cloud infrastructure management, requiring 8+ years of experience in Site Reliability and DevOps. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $116,100 to $198,440 depending on location and experience.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in Google Cloud Platform, with a focus on large-scale deployments and migrations. You'll work directly with customers, implementing and maintaining cloud infrastructure while utilizing your expertise in Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and various programming languages including Python, Go, and Java.

Key responsibilities include owning critical infrastructure tasks, implementing optimal solutions, and providing on-call support. You'll be working with cutting-edge technologies and have the opportunity to create and apply frameworks and best practices that drive innovation.

  • Proficiency in Linux, TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, CDN, load balancers
