Responsibilities For Software Developer III (Python with Linux Automation)
- Lead development and implementation of system enhancements
- Define, design, and implement automated solutions
- Build and support automations for deployment, diagnostics, and remediations
- Create and oversee testing plans
- Design and develop automation scripts and programs
- Create automated actions for faster deployments and service restoration
- Review, test, debug, and comment on task deliverables
- Document feature requests and bug reports
- Provide operational application support
- Collaborate and share knowledge with other Engineers and Administrators
Requirements For Software Developer III (Python with Linux Automation)
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technology field
- 5-7 years of technical engineering and automation experience
- 3+ years of automation engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of Network fundamentals and OS system tools
- Strong knowledge of Docker in production environment
- Experience with VCS (GitHub, Git)
- Expertise in Python and JavaScript
- Strong knowledge of Ansible, Terraform
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Travis)
- Strong knowledge of Project Management/Agile methodologies
