The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience with Google Cloud and DevOps tools, bringing strong technical capabilities in cloud platforms, particularly GCP, along with proficiency in Python, Linux, and infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities For GCP Cloud Engineer II

  • Monitor and provide maintenance for all related infrastructure
  • Ensure the control, integrity, and accessibility of the cloud environment
  • Lead Workload/Workforce Management and Optimization related tasks
  • Mentor and assist Rackers across the Cloud Function
  • Quality check development of technical training
  • Provide technical expertise for communications to various stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and Business Development Consultants
  • Collaborate and share knowledge with other Engineers and Administrators

Requirements For GCP Cloud Engineer II

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 4 years' experience with Cloud Computing
  • Associate level Certificates in GCP
  • 4-6 years Experience on Google Cloud & Devops tools
  • Proficient knowledge of Cloud Platform Products such as GCP
  • Proficient skills in at least one of the following languages: Python, Linux, Shell scripting
  • Proficient skills with git and git workflows
  • Good with Linux administration
  • Highly skilled in Terraform/IaC
  • Knowledge of designing, building, implementing, analysing, and troubleshooting distributed systems
  • Knowledge of at least one configuration management system (Chef, Ansible, Puppet)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
