Rackspace is seeking a Lead Engineer to spearhead their Multi-Cloud Platforms and Infrastructure initiatives. Responsibilities For Lead Engineer - Multi-Cloud Platforms and Infrastructure

  • Oversee and coordinate technical aspects of cloud infrastructure and DevOps requirements
  • Manage IaaS, PaaS, IaaC, and cloud native deployments for operational efficiency
  • Design and manage core network infrastructure on AWS and Azure
  • Implement and optimize DevOps practices
  • Manage SAML/OAuth protocols for secure authentication
  • Handle AWS Cloud IAM and Azure AD integration
  • Manage IT system administration (Linux and Windows) and patching tools
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads across AWS & Azure
  • Support Application Performance Management tools
  • Implement Agile methodologies and manage ITSM/Jira operations

Requirements For Lead Engineer - Multi-Cloud Platforms and Infrastructure

Kubernetes
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms
  • Strong knowledge of security protocols and IAM
  • Expertise in Linux and Windows system administration
  • Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
  • Proficiency in monitoring tools like Dynatrace/Datadog
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and ITSM tools
  • Relevant technical certifications (preferred)
