Linux Systems Engineer

Rackspace is seeking a Linux Systems Engineer to join their team in Gurgaon, India. This role is part of their Private Cloud Delivery division, offering a hybrid work arrangement. The position requires an expert-level understanding of Linux platforms and various system administration skills.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical implementation support and consulting services to customers, ensuring the delivery of Rackspace's signature Fanatical Support experience. They will work with various technologies including Linux distributions (RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu), automation tools like Ansible, and virtualization technologies.

Key technical requirements include proficiency in Linux package management, user administration, and log management, along with understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, load balancers, and storage solutions. The role involves working with core Linux services such as SSH, Apache, MySQL, and various network services.
