Rackspace is seeking a Senior MLOps Engineer to join their Cloud Data Services team in Bangalore. This role combines DevOps principles with Machine Learning expertise, requiring candidates with 5+ years of experience in MLOps. The position involves building and maintaining AI/ML pipelines, working with cloud services (particularly GCP), and implementing best practices in ML model deployment and monitoring. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills in Python, Java, and SQL, along with extensive experience in cloud platforms, containerization, and ML frameworks. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days of office presence per week, offering an opportunity to work with cutting-edge ML technologies and contribute to large-scale ML systems. The role demands both technical expertise and strong communication skills, as you'll be working closely with data science teams and customers to deliver scalable ML solutions.
Responsibilities For MLOps Engineer (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Build complex ETL code to enable AI and ML pipelines
- Design and implement complex Data Engineering Alerting and monitoring workflows
- Design and execute automation strategies to manage ML infrastructure
- Establish credibility and build impactful relationships with customers
- Capture and share industry best practices amongst the MLOps community
- Productionalizing Data Science models to serve at scale
- Assist Data Science teams in experimentation
Requirements For MLOps Engineer (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Expertise in public cloud services, particularly in GCP
- Experience working with VertexAI / Kubeflow Pipelines or other MLOps tools like MLFlow
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and libraries
- Knowledge of prompt engineering methods, LangChain, Vector databases
- Knowledge of LLMOps concepts and practices
- Experience in Infrastructure and Applied DevOps principles
- Knowledge of containerization technologies
- Strong programming abilities in SQL, Java and Python
- Technical degree in Computer Science, software engineering or related
- Overall 5+ years experience in ML Ops
- 2+ years of experience building end-to-end data pipelines
- 2+ years of experience building and deploying ML models in GCP
- 3+ years of experience working with SQL, Java, Python for data analysis
- Based in Bangalore and willing to work from the office 3 days a week
