Senior Platform Engineer

The Senior Platform Engineer role requires substantial experience with hybrid-infrastructure developer platforms. This engineer should be proficient in deploying Kubernetes and automating platform management, adept at developing platform APIs, and comfortable hosting containerized applications. They will provide mentoring to less experienced engineers and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Key requirements:

• 4+ years of relevant hands-on experience with cloud native solutions, federal network engineering best practices, automated work testing, and monitoring tools
• 2+ years of deep experience with Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, EC2, RDS)
• In-depth experience with network concepts and implementation
• Knowledge of modern programming languages
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker
• Experience with agile methodologies

Highly preferred:

• 2+ years configuring and managing Docker, DockerHub, Docker Trusted Registry, and Kubernetes
• In-depth experience with relational and non-relational databases

This is a U.S. based position requiring U.S. citizenship. The role is remote with up to 10% travel. Salary range is $110,000 - $180,000, with benefits including healthcare, 401(k), PTO, education benefits, and more.
