Ramp, the ultimate platform for modern finance teams, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Infrastructure team. As a rapidly growing company that powers the fastest-growing corporate card and bill payment platform in America, Ramp is on a mission to build the best engineering team in the world.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a deep knowledge of AWS or an equivalent cloud provider and will be instrumental in constructing the upcoming versions of Ramp's database infrastructure. With a minimum of 4 years of experience shipping high-quality architectures for critical systems, you'll be at the forefront of influencing and implementing the next generation of Ramp's database, real-time queue, and container orchestration infrastructure.
In this role, you'll work across the engineering organization to introduce and scale best practices with cloud-native technologies. Your expertise in production deployments of Infrastructure-as-Code, particularly Terraform, will be crucial as you build abstractions to simplify architecture and increase velocity. You'll be tackling Ramp's toughest scaling, performance, and low latency problems, ensuring the platform continues to support tens of billions of dollars in purchases each year.
Ramp values engineers who take pride in their work and show an aptitude for learning quickly. As an early employee, you'll have a significant impact on technical design and engineering culture. Your strong sense of ownership will be essential as you promptly address high-urgency issues and mentor other team members.
The compensation package is competitive, with an annual salary range of $191,250 - $225,000, plus target equity and comprehensive benefits. Ramp offers a hybrid work environment, with options to work from New York, Miami, or remotely.
Join Ramp, named Fast Company's #1 Most Innovative Company in North America and LinkedIn's #1 Top Startup in the U.S., and be part of a team that's revolutionizing modern finance. If you're ready to own projects from inception to scaling in production and make a lasting impact on a rapidly growing platform, this role at Ramp could be your next big opportunity.
