Ramp, the ultimate platform for modern finance teams, is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join their innovative team. In this role, you'll collaborate on Ramp's technical vision, leading discussions and implementing complex projects. You'll be instrumental in improving engineering processes, tools, and systems to scale the codebase, productivity, and team. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of ownership and enjoys seeing projects through from inception to production scaling.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating on technical vision and leading complex project implementations
  • Continuously improving engineering processes and systems
  • Recruiting and interviewing, while fostering a culture of excellence
  • Mentoring less experienced engineers and interns

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of software engineering experience
  • Proven track record of shipping high-quality products at scale
  • Ability to transform business ideas into engineering solutions
  • Passion for fast-paced environments and continuous growth
