Staff Software Engineer | Frontend

Ramp, the ultimate platform for modern finance teams, is seeking a Staff Software Engineer specializing in Frontend development. As a technical leader, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the team's vision and driving its execution.

Our tech stack includes TypeScript, React, styled-components, and Vite. We're looking for someone with deep JavaScript expertise, a passion for UX and web performance, and the ability to build the right abstractions to support other engineers.

In this role, you'll lead and potentially manage a team of skilled frontend engineers, advocating for them while tackling complex frontend challenges. You'll be hands-on with coding, scaling product success, and establishing the technical direction for your team. Your responsibilities will include collaborating on the technical vision, leading complex project implementations, fostering a culture of excellence in UX, and continuously improving our engineering processes and tools.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of frontend engineering experience and 3 years of technical leadership. You should be proficient in JavaScript and React, have a keen eye for visuals, and a track record of shipping high-quality products at scale.
