RareCircles is seeking a Front-end Developer for a remote, full-time position working EST hours. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience building scalable front-end applications using TypeScript and NodeJS. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining RareCircles' front-end application and marketing pages, working with designers to transform ideas into clean code, implementing robust engineering solutions, and becoming a key stakeholder in multiple front-end products. The role requires strong experience in NextJS, ReactNative/Expo, and a passion for performance and user experience. The successful candidate will work on groundbreaking projects, contributing to the development of local economies by helping independent retailers across North America deepen relationships with their customers.
Responsibilities For Front-end Developer
- Develop, ship and maintain RareCircles' front-end application
- Develop, ship and maintain high quality interfaces for marketing pages
- Work with designers to transform ideas into clean code
- Implement robust engineering solutions
- Shepherd products from design to live deployments
- Advance multiple front-end products simultaneously
- Be autonomous with a proactive attitude and receptive to feedback
Requirements For Front-end Developer
- 4+ years of experience building scalable front-end applications
- Strong experience in NextJS, NodeJS, and TypeScript
- Experience in ReactNative / Expo + Tamagui
- High attention to detail in translating designs to implementation
- Proficient in English with good writing and communication skills
- Ability to work in Eastern Standard North American time zone
- Willingness to work hard and achieve ambitious goals
- Passion for performance, user experience, and design
