Description For Embedded Product Engineer

Ready is seeking a passionate and innovative Embedded Product Engineer to support our state customers as we rapidly expand. This role will be crucial in translating customer requests into impactful features and navigating the complexities of development, bridging the gap between technical feasibility and user-centric design.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with product managers and engineers to define and prioritize product requirements
  • Capturing and communicating client requirements to the core team
  • Identifying and managing risks across cross-functional teams
  • Developing and performing effective test strategies
  • Documenting technical specifications and maintaining clear communication
  • Contributing to the improvement of development processes and tools
  • Staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting
  • Conducting client training on Ready Software tools

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a similar technical field
  • 1-3 years of experience in a technical role
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for building user-friendly products
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Experience in customer-facing roles
  • Proficiency in at least one relevant programming language (e.g., React, Python)

Responsibilities For Embedded Product Engineer

  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers (PED) to define and prioritize product requirements
  • Capture, document, and communicate client requirements with the core team
  • Proactively identify and manage risks and dependencies across cross-functional teams
  • Develop, utilize, and perform effective test strategies to ensure quality and performance of implemented features
  • Document technical specifications and maintain clear communication with stakeholders
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting
  • Conduct client training and education on Ready Software tools

Requirements For Embedded Product Engineer
