Recorded Future is seeking an outstanding software engineer with a strong interest in data analytics to join their Analytics Team within the R&D organization. The role involves developing AI solutions that interact with the Recorded Future Intelligence Graph and Platform. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work on complex issues, design and develop software with a focus on high availability and scalability, and collaborate with product teams to deliver expected results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on complex data analysis and software development tasks
- Design, develop, and deploy software, analytics, and processing technology
- Measure and evaluate features and system metrics to improve data quality and service performance
- Support DevOps and MLOps activities
- Lead project teams and set technical direction
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a software engineer
- Experience with data analytics and data processing
- Technical leadership experience
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Scala, Java, Python)
- Experience in API development
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong English skills
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with containers and container orchestration
- Knowledge of scaling real-time and analytical systems
- Experience with Machine Learning and Generative AI
- ML Ops experience
- Understanding of machine learning algorithms and image/video/text processing

Responsibilities For AI Lead Software Engineer, AI & Analytics
- Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation
- Work together with our product teams to understand and deliver expected results
- Continuously design, develop and deploy our software, analytics, and processing technology
- Select methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
- Determine methods and procedures for new assignments, may coordinate efforts of colleagues
- Measure and evaluate features and system metrics to continuously improve data quality and service performance
- Support DevOps and MLOps activities
- Networks with key contacts outside area of expertise
- Proactive, go beyond expectations, and independent
- Having wide-ranging experience uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues creatively and effectively
Requirements For AI Lead Software Engineer, AI & Analytics

- Experience with more than one general-purpose programming language (Scala, Java, Python)
- Ability to learn other coding languages as needed

- Architect and develop solutions to ambiguous problems with significant impact
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent education/work experience
- Strong English skills are a must
