Description For Sales Engineer

Recorded Future, the world's leading intelligence company, is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their dynamic team. With an impressive track record of serving over 1,800 clients worldwide and generating more than $300M in sales, this role offers an exciting opportunity in the cybersecurity sector.

The position focuses on collaborating with APJ account teams to address enterprise customer challenges, particularly in ASEAN countries and Taiwan. As a Sales Engineer, you'll lead complex enterprise pilots and facilitate solution onboarding, combining cybersecurity expertise with engineering skills and business acumen.

The role requires a seasoned professional with 5-15 years of experience, including at least 3 years in presales. You'll need strong technical capabilities, including RESTful API integration and security analysis expertise. The ideal candidate should be fluent in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to read Traditional Chinese, enabling effective communication across the region.

Key responsibilities include engaging with prospective customers, managing proof of value initiatives, developing use cases, and delivering demo presentations. You'll be expected to travel within the region about 50% of the time, working with a diverse range of stakeholders from engineers to top executives.

Requirements For Sales Engineer

  • BA/BS (MA/MS preferred) or equivalent education and experience
  • Experience with RESTful API integration
  • Security analysis expertise in security event monitoring, log analysis, incident response, forensic analysis, malware analysis, or vulnerability assessment
  • Experience in analytical role in intelligence, military, cyber, or business operations
  • Fluency in business-level English and Mandarin with ability to read Traditional Chinese
  • 5-15 years of work experience, including 3+ years in presales
  • Experience in cybersecurity solutions or services
