Senior Software Engineer

Red 6, an innovative AR technology startup, is revolutionizing synthetic air combat training through their ATARS product. We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer with exceptional C++ expertise to join our core technology team developing cutting-edge AR/VR technologies. The role focuses on sensor integration, real-time data processing, and game engine integration, particularly with Unreal Engine.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of developing immersive AR/VR solutions, working with state-of-the-art hardware and software systems. Your responsibilities will span from real-time software development to sensor integration and tool development, ensuring seamless integration with game engines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on professional-grade interactive systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of professional C++ and Python development experience, strong expertise in sensor integration, and a proven track record in rapid prototyping of real-time systems. A background in computer science or engineering is required, and advanced degrees are preferred. This role requires U.S. citizenship due to security clearance requirements.
