Senior Developer (Spring Boot, Java, Kotlin)

As a Senior Java Developer at redbee, you will:

• Develop software using Scrum methodology, producing high-quality features that adhere to acceptance criteria
• Review code from other team members to ensure high-quality features are built following best practices
• Collaborate with Managers to implement end-to-end solutions for complex projects
• Maintain and support the applications you build

We're looking for someone with:

• Bachelor's degree in Systems, Engineering, or any related field
• More than 7 years of experience in Java development
• Experience in Kotlin development
• Experience with Spring framework (Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Security, etc)
• Ability to write testable, efficient code designed to high quality standards
• Skills to ensure designs conform to project specifications
• Object-oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL and NoSQL

It's a plus if you have:

• Experience in test-driven development
• Experience in API design
• Support continuous improvement by researching alternatives and technologies, and presenting them for architecture review
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
