Responsibilities For Senior DevOps Engineer
- Define Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) Pipelines
- Manage cloud and/or on-prem infrastructure environments
- Monitor and create metrics/alarms
- Analyze failure points, scalability models, platform resilience and disaster recovery
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of full-stack developers, UX designers, QA, functional analysts and other stakeholders
Requirements For Senior DevOps Engineer
- Experience with scripting languages like Bash, Python, Groovy, Go
- Knowledge of hyperscalers like AWS, Azure, GCP or OCI
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, Circle CI
- Knowledge of modern project toolchain (Gradle, SBT, Grunt, Gulp, npm, Maven)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, Cloudformation, Terragrunt)
- Experience with container orchestrators (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Mesosphere DC/OS)
- Proficiency with container platforms (OCI, Docker)
- Experience with Git repositories (Github, Bitbucket)
- Experience with Web servers & API Gateways (Nginx, Apache, Kong, Apigee, AWS API Gateway)
- Knowledge of Queueing software (RabbitMQ, Kafka, ActiveMQ, AWS SQS)
- Network knowledge
- Strong Linux skills
