Reddit is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to support their rapidly growing advertising business. As a Solutions Engineer at Reddit, you'll be responsible for partnering with the Sales organization to remove technical and business-related obstacles, advocate for customer interests, and create compelling technical content. You'll gain in-depth knowledge of Reddit's advertising platform, from front-end tools for ad creation to predictive modeling, delivery, auctions, and attribution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying root causes for poor-performing creatives, low fill rates, or other revenue-harming incidents
- Managing customer POCs and ensuring their success
- Advocating customer interests and product feedback to internal teams
- Maintaining awareness of internal roadmaps and new product features
- Influencing the improvement of Solutions Engineering processes
- Working with the Ads Engineering team to define next-generation architecture and identify system gaps
- Contributing to the vision and strategy for Ad Operations, QA, Product, and Engineering groups
- Leveraging strong communication skills to articulate solutions to complex problems
- Creating extensive documentation on processes and ad guidelines

Responsibilities For Senior Solutions Engineer
- Gain in-depth knowledge of Reddit's advertising platform

- Ensure success of customer POCs through effective management

Requirements For Senior Solutions Engineer
- 6-10 years' experience in AdTech/MarTech at a top-line publisher, DSP, SSP, Ad Network or Ad Agency preferably as a Solutions or Integrations or Professional Services Engineer
- Firm understanding of enterprise integration methodologies, best practices and API architecture
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in web development, mobile development, device platforms & architectures, ETL concepts and workflows, high availability systems and business continuity
- Strong critical-thinking, analytical, logical, and results-oriented skill set
- Understanding of log parsing, device logs, API response codes and other technologies related to advertising
- Adept with writing database queries and data analysis
- Proficiency with big data visualization tools (e.g., DataDog, Tableau)
- Development experience in Java, Javascript, Go, Node, Python, or React
- Command-line expertise with Linux or UNIX (preferred)
- Background in product development, management or technical pre-sales of digital advertising technology (preferred)
