Software Engineer III, Machine Learning

Reddit is seeking a Software Engineer III, Machine Learning to join their Ads prediction team. This role is critical in predicting ads engagement rates used in auctions to maximize ad engagements and marketplace efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience in building industrial-level models, implementing advanced modeling techniques, and conducting systematic feature engineering.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building industrial-level models for critical ML tasks with advanced modeling techniques
• Researching, implementing, testing, and launching new model architectures including deep neural networks
• Conducting systematic feature engineering to convert raw Reddit data into useful features
• Contributing to team strategy and planning

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of experience with industry-level Machine Learning models
• 3+ years of experience with mainstream ML frameworks (such as Tensorflow and Pytorch)
• 3+ years of end-to-end experience in training, evaluating, testing, and deploying industry-level models
• Deep learning experience (strong plus)
• Experience in orchestrating complicated data generation pipelines on large-scale datasets (plus)
• Experience with Ads domain (plus)
• Experience with Recommendation Systems (plus)
