Responsibilities For Senior Controls Engineer

  • Lead design and implementation of in-house automation systems including electrical panel specifications and control components
  • Provide maintenance and support for automation and electrical-related issues
  • Oversee plant control systems including SCADA, HMIs, PLCs, DCS, vision systems, and OT networking
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on large capital projects
  • Support risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety standards

Requirements For Senior Controls Engineer

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline
  • Minimum 5 years experience in automated manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of process control design and feedback control strategies
  • Ability to read, interpret, and edit P&IDs
  • Electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Understanding of networking and fieldbus systems
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience with Siemens PLCs and Ignition SCADA system
  • Master's degree in electrical and Control Systems Engineering (preferred)
  • Experience with advanced control strategies (MPC and APC)
  • Knowledge of industry standards (ISA, IEC, and NFPA)
