Responsibilities For Senior Controls Engineer
- Lead design and implementation of in-house automation systems including electrical panel specifications and control components
- Provide maintenance and support for automation and electrical-related issues
- Oversee plant control systems including SCADA, HMIs, PLCs, DCS, vision systems, and OT networking
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on large capital projects
- Support risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety standards
Requirements For Senior Controls Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline
- Minimum 5 years experience in automated manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of process control design and feedback control strategies
- Ability to read, interpret, and edit P&IDs
- Electrical troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of networking and fieldbus systems
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with Siemens PLCs and Ignition SCADA system
- Master's degree in electrical and Control Systems Engineering (preferred)
- Experience with advanced control strategies (MPC and APC)
- Knowledge of industry standards (ISA, IEC, and NFPA)
