Responsibilities For Senior NPI Engineer

  • Collaborate with design engineers to establish production processes
  • Primary owner of manufacturing builds during product development
  • Generate detailed documentation for manufacturing assembly
  • Ensure product quality through pFMEA risk assessment
  • Execute process qualifications/validations
  • Troubleshoot machine failures at system and subsystem level
  • Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Generate engineering reports for NCRs, complaints, and CAPA's

Requirements For Senior NPI Engineer

  • BS degree in mechanical, electrical, biomedical, industrial engineering or physics
  • 6+ years experience as Manufacturing, NPI, R&D or similar engineer in medical device equipment
  • Experience with complex robotic electromechanical systems
  • Strong design for manufacturing knowledge
  • Experience with Medical Device regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent document writing skills
  • Ability to work in FDA regulated radioactive environment
  • Ability to provide leadership to less experienced engineers
