Relation is an innovative end-to-end biotech company focused on developing transformational medicines using cutting-edge technology. They leverage single-cell multi-omics, functional assays, and machine learning to understand diseases from cause to cure. The company has recently partnered with GSK to tackle fibrosis and osteoarthritis while advancing their internal osteoporosis programme.

As a Machine Learning Scientist within the Roslind team, you'll be at the forefront of applying advanced ML techniques to DNA and genetic data. The role involves working with state-of-the-art DNA models to identify genes involved in diseases that haven't been previously recognized. You'll be part of a dynamic, interdisciplinary team working in state-of-the-art facilities in London.

The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research in the TechBio space. You'll work on identifying non-trivial associations between genetic variants and diseases, providing foundational insights for therapeutic development. Requirements For Machine Learning Scientist - Roslind

Python
  • PhD in machine learning, computational biology, or related field, or equivalent industrial experience
  • Demonstrated experience applying machine learning techniques to DNA or genetic data
  • Proficiency in Python and at least one ML platform (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
  • Flexibility and ability to tackle new challenges at the intersection of biology and machine learning
