As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in connecting various internal technical teams to define architectural, structural, heavy civil, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, & industrial requirements. You'll be our owner's representative to outside consultants and contractors, working closely with test & launch team members during test processing and operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing development, design, and construction of new infrastructure projects
- Developing construction drawings, request for proposals, and managing competitive bidding
- Evaluating bids, selecting sub-contractors, and overseeing sub-contractor management
- Executing construction management to install and operate best-in-class test site solutions
- Meeting stringent cost and schedule requirements in a competitive environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or related technical discipline
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace or construction industry, with hands-on field and project management experience
- Experience with design documentation, construction drawings, bid solicitation, contractor selection, and field supervision
- Proficiency in project scoping, budgeting, and scheduling
- Knowledge of Architectural, Structural, Civil, and MEPF design, construction, and operation
- Understanding of standard construction procedures and best practices
- Ability to work with 3D models using NX, AutoCAD, or similar CAD programs
- Willingness to travel up to 25% to support ongoing projects across Relativity's sites
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with development permitting and working with local government agencies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
- Advanced degree in engineering, construction, operations, or project management
- Experience with aerospace facilities and systems
- Familiarity with FEM structural analysis
