Staff Software Engineer

As a Staff Software Engineer at Reltio, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of features in our areas of ownership within the Core Platform development. You will work with Product Managers to build a solid product roadmap, drive design and development of features, provide thought and execution leadership, and work across functions with QA, DevOps & Doc teams to ensure high-quality delivery. You will also present designs for new initiatives in the global forum of architects.

• Delivering high-quality, customer-focused features
• Championing engineering excellence and raising the bar on code coverage, coding guidelines, and review processes
• Providing technical leadership and mentoring junior team members
• Dealing with ambiguity in complex problems and showing bias for action
• Shaping the architecture of your work area and the broader product
• Ensuring thorough testing strategies, robust deployment, and lucid documentation of features
• Effective communication with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders

Required skills:

• Engineering degree in computer science
• Strong competencies in algorithms, data structures, software design, and building large, distributed systems
• 8+ years of experience in design and development of products for enterprise customers
• 4+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed data systems in Java and cloud technologies
• Experience in leading projects and providing technical mentorship
• Experience with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and managed cloud databases
