Data Engineer

Renmoney is seeking a Data Engineer to join their Decision Science department. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Lagos, Nigeria. The role requires expertise in data engineering technologies and practices, including ETL processes, database management, and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with various database systems, including both traditional RDBMS and modern data warehouse solutions, along with proficiency in Python programming and Linux environments. They will be responsible for designing and implementing data infrastructure, optimizing database performance, and working with both OLTP and OLAP systems. The position offers an opportunity to work with modern data technologies including AWS and Apache Spark, contributing to the company's data architecture and engineering initiatives.
