- Contributing accounting domain knowledge, design skills, and technical expertise
- Being involved in the entire software development process
- Impacting a developing tech stack based on AWS back-end services
- Participating in the creation of developer-based automation
- Coaching, mentoring, and inspiring teams of product engineers
- Thinking creatively, owning problems, and seeking solutions
We're looking for candidates with 8+ years of software engineering experience, a degree in Computer Science or related field, and expertise in cloud-native applications, API design, and high-availability systems. Experience in Portfolio Accounting, Fintech applications, and technologies like Java, Kotlin, and React is a plus.

- Contribute accounting domain knowledge, design skills, and technical expertise
- Be involved in the entire software development process, from requirements and design reviews to shipping code
- Impact a developing tech stack based on AWS back-end services
- Participate in the creation and construction of developer-based automation
- Coach, mentor, and inspire teams of product engineers
- Think creatively, own problems, seek solutions, and communicate clearly
- Contribute to a collaborative environment deeply rooted in learning, teaching, and transparency
Requirements For Staff Software Engineer, Investment Data
- 8+ years in a software engineering position with a history of architecting and designing new products and technologies
- Experience building cloud native applications on AWS/Azure/Google Cloud
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related discipline
- Experience with API and Event design
- Background in high-availability systems
- Experience with on-call
- Experience with production instrumentation, observability, and performance monitoring
- Willingness to learn about new technologies while simultaneously developing expertise in a business domain/problem space
- Understand the value of automated tests at all levels
- Ability to focus on short-term deliverables while maintaining a big-picture long term perspective
- An aptitude for complex problem-solving
- Ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels
