IT Support Engineer, Ring IT

Ring is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join their Information Technology team in Europe. This senior role will focus on supporting and improving the technology experience as part of a global team. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing network infrastructure at local and remote offices
• Providing local IT support for laptops, desktops, and software
• Assisting in device troubleshooting for a remote-based workforce
• Being a role model for other IT team members
• Improving existing systems and providing a template for junior team members

The ideal candidate will have experience managing network infrastructure for small-medium businesses and desktop support in a complex IT environment. They should be able to balance day-to-day ticket queue management and act as an owner of small to medium IT implementation projects.

Daily responsibilities include:

• Providing IT site support in Tampere, Finland
• Managing Ring lab networks in Europe (Finland, Poland, Romania)
• Collecting requirements for new lab networks globally
• Maintaining and troubleshooting network infrastructure
• Managing network security appliances
• Interfacing with vendors and external resources

The role requires expertise in Cisco Meraki devices and will involve supporting other European sites remotely. The candidate will join a team of 9 people supporting Ring IT worldwide, with headquarters in Hawthorne, CA and offices in Malvern, PA, Boston, MA, and Taipei, TW.
